Experts and companies debated the latest cloud-security developments and trends and also discussed the value of service-provider certification as the first step towards achieving transparency and standardization of methodologies and controls to ensure secure migration into the cloud. Mariano J Benito, coordinator of the Technical Operating Committee, Cloud Security Alliance Spain and CISO of GMV, together with Agustín Lerma, Lead Assessor of CSA STAR and Product Manager of BSI Group, presented the Open Certification Framework, developed by Global Cloud Security Alliance to ensure proper certification and trustworthiness of cloud services.
