The aim of this challenge is to develop STEM talent and empower the upcoming generation of leaders in the collaborative mobile robotics field. The participants, from several different Spanish regions, took part in two categories: firstly, 56 teams made up of 9th and 10th grade, baccalaureate and pre-baccalaureate vocational-training pupils, and, secondly, 11 teams of university undergraduates and post-baccalaureate vocational-training pupils. The challenge consists of building a robot in teams, adopting the methodological approach of project-based learning and maker culture (do it yourself).The competitors were able to showcase their robotics skills while passing the various tests and stages previously set by ASTI's R&D team. Mariella Graziano, Manager of GMV's Space and Robotics Segment, sat as a member of the jury, helping to weigh up the projects submitted together with other professionals from the field of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship.
