GMV excitedly welcomes 40 new interns to its team in a special event

GMV’s Global Talent Internship Program is on for yet another year, offering engineering and technical VET students in their final years of study the chance to start gaining experience in a real work environment by taking part in cutting-edge projects under the guidance of top-tier professionals.

The Global Talent Internship Program is seeing big numbers this year, with 40 candidates joining GMV on Monday 6 February, adding to the 23 recruits in January to make a total of 63 new interns in the first two months of 2023 alone. To celebrate these exceptional numbers, GMV organized a special welcome event to help its new members get started on their first day.

Due to the technological revolution and digitalization, the IT sector increasingly requires more and more qualified technical professionals trained in different technologies. The demand for these profiles in tech far outstrips supply, thrusting companies in the IT sector into an outright battle for talent. In keeping with its commitment to education, GMV is tackling this problem by collaborating with training centers and universities, encouraging students to choose technical training pathways from an early age, getting involved in their training and offering them the chance to pursue a professional career in the company.
