GMV Portugal present at IDC Directions

GMV Portugal sponsored the 20th edition of IDC Directions, the main ICT and Digital Transformation event in Portugal that had the presence of more than 1400 participants, surpassing the last editions.

Here were discussed the main orientations on how national businesses should lead Digital Transformation (DX) strategy in their own organizations and GMV was present in the exposition zone of the Congress.

Besides significant technology changes in the last years, IDC predicts an even higher changing rhythm between 2017 and 2020 in parallel with the growing of “DX Economy”. For the success of this new digital economy, it will be crucial to understand the new economic rules, the new roles of technological leaders and also the positioning and offering that technology suppliers will need to have.

This event accomplished the purpose of sharing the main predictions and insights from IDC and main industry players for the global and national market in what concerns to the next chapter of the third Technological Platform, Innovation Accelerators and DX in the next 3 years.
