GMV presents latest developments for ITS Sector at Transexpo

The 15th edition of Transexpo took place on October 27-29 at the fairgrounds in Kielce, Poland. This is the region’s largest industrial fair on mass transit, bringing together the leading players on the Polish market and from foreign markets. As in previous editions, GMV attended the event as an exhibitor to present its solutions in this sector.

Visitors to the company’s stand received first-hand information on GMV’s passenger information systems, as well as its technological developments for advanced and integrated payment and its systems for fleet management.

During the three-day event, GMV showed three new products. The first solution is a modern RMDT industrial computer. This is a high performance device allows various optional features, acting both as driver interface and on-board computer. Among the novelties, GMV presented EcoDriving, a software for on-board and central computers that allows the monitorization of the driver's quality performance in real time. The third one is ITS Suite, dedicated to managing a public transport fleet with the advantage of comprehensive use in implementations based on local or cloud IT infrastructure. GMV also highlighted live demonstrations of the GMV Planner tool for comprehensive management transportation service planning and operations.

The fair opened its doors with 123 exhibitor companies from countries such as Germany, Austria, Denmark, Byelorussia, Greece, Italy, United Kingdom, and more. Transexpo was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Climate and Environment of the Republic of Poland, the Office of the President of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship and the Office of the Mayor of Kielce.
