This is the first contract obtained within a framework orbital-dynamics algorithms and engineering contract awarded by CNES to GMV as prime contractor. The contract activities, to be carried out in GMV and in CNES, will last at least until the end of 2014 with the possibility of a two-year extension as need be.This activity includes maintenance of the space mechanics libraries used on all CNES’s current flight missions, both earth-observation and scientific, and also the ATV mission of the European Space Agency (ESA), whose flight dynamics system has been developed by GMV. The contract also includes maintenance of other space mechanics tools used for calculating maneuvers or controlled satellite reentry.
