The emulation challenges of the NGMP stem not only from the high performance required but also from the complex interactions between the cores when competing for the shared resources. The NGMP, hostable on a single computer, will enable the integrated modular avionics (IMA) to be applied to multi-core systems in space applications, facilitating the mass data processing required for ESA’s future scientific missions. This contract award forges even closer bonds with the European Space Agency and maintains GMV’s leading role as an expert in IMA in general and application of IMA products and applications in the space sector in particular.
