The aim of this year’s symposium was to help nations pinpoint capability shortfalls and show NATO the commercial systems and emerging technologies that might fill these gaps. GMV showcased its ISTAR technologies at this event, highlighting the progress being made in the Mobile ISTAR Operating system (called SEISMO after its Spanish initials: Sistema de Explotación ISTAR Móvil) for the MAJIIC program (Multisensor Aerospace /Ground Joint ISR -Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance- Interoperability Coalition), GMV’s input to the ATLANTE program (Spanish long-ranged unmanned aerial vehicle) and the infrastructure for the Spanish SIGINT program. GMV’s solutions aroused keen interest from participants, including not only NATO personnel posted at the air base but also the main sector companies, with representatives from THALES, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and Boeing, among others. During the event GMV also exhibited its “ICT Solutions for Information Superiority”, likewise keenly received by attendees. In particular the Intelligence Division of the Ramstein Air Base congratulated GMV for the quality of the exhibition, especially in the area of information fusion for intelligence analysis.
