Home Back New search in Date Min Max Aeronautics Automotive Corporate Cybersecurity Defense and Security Financial Healthcare Industry Intelligent Transportation Systems Digital Public Services Services Space Unmanned systems and robotics for security applications Print Share Details GMV is taking part in the Workshop “Unmanned systems and robotics for security applications”, organized by the Spanish Mechatronics and Robotics Network (Red Española de Robótica y Mecatrónica: REDROM) and the Spanish Robotics Research and Development Society (Sociedad Española de Investigación y Desarrollo en Robótica: SEIDROB) and to be held on 2 December in Madrid’s Higher Industrial Engineers School (Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales). The event’s first session involves presentations by government bodies and security forces. The Industrial Technology Development Center (Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial: CDTI) will present H2020 opportunities; the State Security Agency of the Ministry of Economics and Competitiveness will be presenting Spanish programs and there will also be interventions by representatives of the National Policeforce, the Guardia Civil and the Technological Forecasting and Observation System (Sistema de Observación y Prospectiva Tecnológica) of the Spanish MoD. In the second session sector companies will be showcasing their systems and applications in this area. Ricardo Sáenz, program director of GMV Homeland Security & Defense will be presenting a paper called “Harnessing RPA information in international environments”.
