IAC 2017
GMV will be present at the 68th International Astronautical Congress (IAC 2017), to be held in Adelaide, Australia from 25 to 29 September 2017.
IAC, consisting of plenary sessions, lectures and meetings, is the yearly meeting of the world’s main space stakeholders.
The global economy and the security of many nations depend on guaranteeing secure access to the satellites that provide services of communications, chronometry and navigation and remote sensing data. Space probes are also vital for our understanding of the solar system and the distant universe. IAC2017’s program will be tackling all these matters and also stressing space’s crucial contribution to STEM education.
Space is a fragile environment and satellites are easily damaged by space debris. Researchers and companies are now working away to bring down collision risks to acceptable levels in order to ensure the whole of humankind can continue to benefit from space-based services and gain access to space itself.
