GMV is taking part in the 12th European Conference on Software Architecture, to be held in the Polytechnic University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid: UPM) from 24 to 28 September.

The European Conference on Software Architecture (ECSA) is the premier European software architecture conference, providing researchers, practitioners and educators with a platform to present and discuss the most recent, innovative and significant findings and experiences in the field of software architecture research and practice. As the leading conference in its field it is a must for all stakeholders, boasting this year such outstanding and renowned speakers as Rick Kazman, Michael Keeling and Siobhán Clarke.

On Thursday 27, as part of the session entitled “Industry Track: Industry Experience”, GMV is presenting a paper called “A Reference Architecture for Space Systems".

The conference also hosts a workshop organized by the Big Data Value Association (BDVA), a private counterpart to the European Commission set up to implement the BDV PPP program (Big Data Value PPP). GMV is leading the Workshop Organization Committee, and the workshop itself will be held on Tuesday 25, divided into the following three sessions:

  • Software architectures in genuine big data scenarios
  • Applying machine learning to big data scenarios
  • Fostering businesses with big data through cloud and analytics
