Panel Discussion: Space Surveillance and Tracking

On 20 June, under the aegis of the Space Horizon of the defense and security innovation organization called Red Horizontes, the Madrid University Universidad Carlos III together with ISDEFE will hold a panel discussion to run through the necessary technology for Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and the technological challenges of improving SST.

Alberto Águeda, head of GMV’s FDO- Aerospace division, together with other experts from Spain’s industry, will take part in this encounter to explain how these systems work, focusing on the Spanish space surveillance system S3T and GMV’s role in the development of this system.

Through S3T, which came on stream in 2016, Spain is providing Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) services as part of the European Commission’s dedicated SST program (EUSST).
