AMETIC Artificial Intelligence Summit 2023

AMETIC is presenting the AMETIC Artificial Intelligence Summit 2023 #AIAMSummit23, building upon the success achieved with the previous editions. This event has become one of Spain’s most important annual forums for the artificial intelligence industry.

As in previous years, this gathering will provide a unique space for exchanges of knowledge and experience among users and companies operating in this field. AI is a technology that has shown tremendous growth in recent years, and it is one that will undoubtedly remain at the forefront of the digital revolution in all areas of society.

José Carlos Baquero, GMV’s Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Manager, will be participating in the session entitled “The new value of the data economy” (4:15 PM).

Data represents the focus of the major transformations that are taking place in our current context as a result of applying new digital technologies. For this reason, it has become impossible for any digital economy to become established and compete globally unless it is supported by a solid data economy. In addition, one objective of the European strategy is to create a single European market for data, open to data from worldwide sources. This market will cover both personal and non-personal data, including sensitive business data, and it will provide companies with secure access to high-quality industry data in a way that will drive growth and create value. By developing the associated regulations and mechanisms, an effort is being made to ensure that data flows can take place with full respect for European laws and values, and to guarantee that data access and use will be governed by rules that are fair, practical, and unambiguous.
