Space & Defense Industry Sevilla Summit

As a global partner, GMV will again participate in the Space & Defense Industry Sevilla Summit, which will take place on 25 and 26 October 2023 at Seville’s FIBES exhibition and conference venue.

The summit will focus on enhancing Spain's commitment to innovation, digitalization, technology, and progress in the fields of security, aerospace, and defense, all with an international outlook, promoting what Spain has to offer in the context of global sustainability and growth. The event also seeks to engage the public and private sectors as much as possible, encouraging both job creation and support for research.

The main goal of the summit is to strengthen the Spanish industrial aerospace, security, and defense sector, consolidating its place in Europe following the sector's commitment to growing in scope.

Space & Defense Industry Sevilla Summit 2023 will be centered around nine themes: the Spanish ecosystem of companies leading the way in the defense and space industry; a guest region of Spain; competition in Europe; cooperation and development of joint European programs; the Spanish Space Agency; the tandem of space and defense; resilient and secure connectivity for Europe; cyberspace and cybersecurity, and finally, data analysis platforms and artificial intelligence applied to the defense industry.

Jorge Potti, GMV’s Strategy Corporate Director, will participate in the round-table discussion on Wednesday 25 October at 1:00 PM on “Defense, industry, and science: key factors for greater efficiency.”

Jesús B. Serrano, Chief Executive Officer of GMV, will participate on Thursday 26 October at 11:15 AM as pat of the section on “Space and Defense: an efficient and necessary tandem.”
