This web site reflects only the author’s view and neither the Commission nor HADEA are responsible for any use that may be made of the information it contains.MESEO (Multi-Mission Efficient and Secure High Capacity End-to-End Earth Observation) is a collaborative research project, designed to contribute to developing and deploying global, space-based services, applications and data and to foster competitiveness of the European space sector.With 9 partners in 7 countries, MESEO aims to enhance performance across the EO data processing chain, both on board and on the ground, by addressing bottlenecks, improving timelines, and optimising power consumption. A collaborative digital ecosystem, driven by an EO Coordinator Centre, will connect diverse processing functions through harmonised interfaces, ensuring data sovereignty. MESEO’s innovations will be demonstrated by prototyping two use cases based on Green Deal applications, methane monitoring and crop classification, showcasing its potential to revolutionise EO systems for faster, more reliable, and environmentally focused outcomes.
