3rd International Congress on ICT for the Amazon

The Universidad de la Amazonia presents the 3rd International Congress on ICT for the Amazon, online from Florencia, department of Caquetá, Colombia, to share academic and research experiences related to Information and Communication Technology, based this time on the key pillar of “Challenges for Digital Transformation”.

GMV Industry Sector Solutions Architect Javier Hidalgo is giving a presentation on “Industrial IoT and Leveraging Data: a Cybersecurity Approach” (November 17, 11:00 am). During his talk, he will address the importance of proper data processing in the area of digital transformation at companies, focusing especially on the manufacturing sector, providing businesses and clients information on the production processes, their efficiency and their performance more quickly, transparently and simply. He goes into depth on the importance of the Industrial IoT as a valuable element in leveraging the data, and how to adopt a cybersecurity focus so that the leveraging is done in a way that protects the company from any risks that could arise during the process.
