GMV was elected to run the space executive, a post held by GMV’s Space Manager, Jorge Potti, since 2016. The governing board (Junta Directiva) is TEDAE’s collegiate management body acting under the aegis of the general assembly. It is made up by TEDAE’s president; the sector vice-presidents; a minimum of fourteen (14) members, which must be associated firms; and TEDAE’s secretary. For the next three years (2021-2024) the board will be made up by: Aciturri Aeronáutica, Aernnova Aerospace, Airbus, Escribano Mechanical and Engineering, Eropavia España, Centum Solutions, Santa Bárbara Sistemas, GMV, Indra Sistemas, ITP Sistemas, ITP Aero, Navantia, Saes and Tecnobit. TEDAE comprises 90 Spanish space-, aeronautics-, defense- and security-firms. According to 2019 figures, these companies’ aggregate turnover adds up to 13.04 billion euros; they export 71% of their products and services, account for 1% of Spain’s gross domestic product, generate 57,600 highly-skilled jobs and plow back 9% of their earnings into R&D.
