GMV took part in the Forum as one of the 65 members of the Polish Space Industry Association.The FSK was attended by representatives of the authorities and public administration, army, business as well as by scientists, experts and journalists – a total of 460 people. At GMV’s exhibition stand visitors could learn the details of the European Space Agency missions and projects in which the company is currently involved. The GMV experts, while presenting at the event the implementations of the solutions as well as the company’s future projects, stressed the important role played by Polish IT specialists in the execution of these missions. Journalists, who visited the Forum in large numbers, had an opportunity to learn how the company’s activities and proposed space solutions translate into everyday life on Earth. Of particular interest was, inter alia, the clarification of the rules of operation of satellite ground control systems and intelligent transportation systems using GNSS signals, which inhabitants of many Polish cities use on a daily basis, e.g. when travelling by public transport. The event was organized by the Polish Space Industry Association, which brings together the most important entities of the space sector in Poland – both companies and research institutes.
