The main purpose of Faro Corporativo is to record and monitor all security incidents that may crop up in BBVA Group’s head offices and banks. It also includes a series of powerful integral security-management functions, the most important being a detailed inventory of all security devices installed in banks and buildings; planning and monitoring of all surveillance services, including drawing up quotes, contract management and billing control; management of security audits in banks, buildings and ATMs; agenda of security providers and provider assessment and monitoring tool; accounting management of security incidents; hazard maps, claims reports and dashboards. Faro Corporativo also incorporates a document manager that stores all documentation associated with any incident (reporting of the incident, client documentation, cash balances, etc), plus photos and videos related to the incident. The document manager can also keep any type of documentation related to each bank and building, such as installation certificates, recorded checks, maps or technical specifications of the installed security devices. It also offers a digital library for centralizing all security management documentation: internal manuals and procedures, standards and current legislation, etc. Faro Corporativo has been designed as a multi-country platform, making it possible to manage from a single application the security of all the banks and buildings of the various countries BBVA trades in. The application can easily be adapted to suit the characteristics and needs of each particular country. At the same time the common structure shared by all the various countries favors uniform security processes and global reporting. Its powerful profiling engine and user-level performance manager (geographical and organizational sphere of action) mean that Faro Corporativo can be used by all security stakeholders, ranging from surveillance personnel right up to the head of corporate security. Faro Corporativo thus acts as an important, highly-detailed information repository that is continually fed and maintained by the various user groups. All this information can be analyzed and mined jointly by means of different reports and personalizable dashboards for obtaining aggregate information at any level. The system as designed by GMV enables worldwide dashboards and reports to be obtained in real time without the need for periodic data-consolidation processes and without affecting daily operations conducted from each particular country. Faro Corporativo has now been rolled out in Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela. This rollout will continue in 2014 and 2015 until building up to a total of 12 countries. Grupo BBVA has recently won the prize for the “Best security system installed in Spain”, awarded by the trade review Seguritecnia. Print Share
