Introduction-to-the-Company Course UPM

The Polytechnic University of Madrid (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid: UPM), with the collaboration of its Social Council, is organizing a course as part of its Transverse PhD Syllabus to give PhD students a better idea of the real working world.

Ten different themes will give students a comprehensive idea of the various areas of any company organization. Professionals from the business world will be collaborating with the university to give their more hands-on point of view. Isabel Tovar, Manager of the Service Companies Vertical in GMV’s Secure e-Solutions Sector, will be giving the lecture “How can we successfully sell?” drawing on her own successful career in which she has held various posts of responsibility in the commercial and marketing area.

The lectures will be given in the industrial engineering school (ETSI Industriales) between 25 February and 8 April 2019, within a timetable running from 16 to 20 hours.
