NSSC

The latest UK SEDS National Student Space Conference is to be held on 2 and 3 March. The yearly, GMV-sponsored event, organized by UKSEDS, is to be held in the University of Edinburgh.

UKSEDS (UK Students for the Exploration and Development of Space) is a society that supports and educates young students and professionals, encouraging them to pursue space exploration and research. A host of initiatives have now been organized by this society, which is the UK chapter of the global SEDS movement, the world’s biggest youngster-targeted space organization operating around the world through various sister organizations in Canada, Mexico, Nepal, Spain and the United States, among others.

UK companies are now spearheading the small satellite industry, acting as experts in the supply of components and satellite systems, as well as complete solutions. After the recent announcement of the UK’s first vertical launch site to be built in the county of Sutherland in northern Scotland, the conference’s timing and venue are perfect for dealing with the future of space launches in the UK.
