The congress sets out to explore the complex legal environment surrounding consumer- and industrial-robotics. The robot takeup in our society is now soaring, and legal aspects now need to be brought into the equation. An in-depth, multidisciplinary debate is now needed to flesh out the legal framework, linking up with closely related areas like medicine, engineering, science and business, etc.
