Next Generation EU for Spanish Public Health. Current Situation and Expectations
During the encounter “Next Generation EU for Spanish Public Health. Current Situation and Expectations”, organized by the Spanish Association of ICT Companies (Asociación de Empresas de Electrónica, Tecnologías de la Información, Telecomunicaciones y Contenidos Digitales: AMETIC) and Ticbiomed, Carlos Royo, manager of GMV’s Healthcare Strategy and President of AMETIC’s Digital Healthcare Committee, will be presenting the Health Macro Proyecto Tractor (major lodestar project driving innovation and R&D).
Next Generation EU (NGEU) is a European Recovery Plan that will mean 72.7 billion euro non-reimbursable aid for Spain. As from 2021 this money is to be spent on projects to drive the digital transformation, including of the Spanish health system.
This session will give an account of the procedure for applying to the NGEU for funding of digital healthcare projects and the way different regions are tackling the opportunities associated with this funding scheme.
