1st Space & Industrial Economy 5.0 Seville Virtual Summit

GMV is sponsoring the first Space & Industrial Economy 5.0 Virtual Summit, to be held online on 16 and 17 December.

Under the title "Space as preserver of the planet" the summit will address the development of innovation, technology and the new industry in Spain and Andalusia, with a special focus on the aerospace industry, doing so through a series of speeches, lectures, practical case histories and discussion panels.

As well as sponsoring the event, GMV will also feature as a key participant. Jesús B. Serrano, GMV’s CEO, will be taking part in the discussion panel "Space as a source of R&D and its reflection in new industry. Innovation to improve people’s lives"; Jorge Potti, GMV’s Space Manager, will take part in the discussion panel "Artificial Intelligence, 5G, IoT: Space and New Industry. The C21st internet revolution"; while Miguel Ángel Martínez, GMV’s corporate manager of Business Development, Marketing and Communication, will be part of the discussion panel "Sustainable Development in the 5.0 Society. Sustainability in Transport and Journeys".

The free-registration summit will be dealing with issues like satellites, drones and robots, the rollout of 5G technology, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, digital twinning, the new means of payment and health-centered applications, without forgetting cybersecurity, the vehicles of the future and everything else to do with the new sustainable mobility and smart cities.
