MGA
GMV is one of the sponsors of the 10th Multi-Global Navigation Satellite Systems Asia (MGA) Conference, to be held on RMIT University’s Melbourne City Campus from 23 to 25 October.
MGA is an international organization funded from voluntary contributions by academic, industrial and government experts. Its remit is to drive GNSS projects in Asia and Oceania and bring them to wider notice. The Asia and Oceania region is a unique place where the number of usable modernized navigation satellites will increase much faster than in other areas of the world.
The MGA Conference is held yearly in this region. As such it is the leading conference promoting Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) and related timing, navigation and positioning applications and technologies.
Sessions will examine the growing demand for accurate position, navigation and timing information across agriculture, utilities, intelligent transportation systems, emergency services, resources, construction and smart cities. The conference will also look deeper into the vital role GNSS plays in improving our road, rail, air and marine transport and provide highlights from the Australian and New Zealand Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) testbed.
