Satellite Masters Conference
GMV is taking part in Satellite Masters, one of the world’s biggest satellite-navigation and earth-observation conferences. For the first time ever the conference, running from 25 to 27 October, is being held outside Germany. The venue this year is Madrid and the joint organizers are the foundation called Fundación para el Conocimiento madri+d and Anwendungszentrum GmbH Oberpfaffenhofen (AZO), an organization created in 2004 by the German Aerospace Center.
The main aim of the Satellite Masters Conference is to showcase cutting-edge satellite-navigation and earth-observation ideas and developments. This year’s conference features an outstanding blend of conference sessions, workshops, and roundtable discussions centered on leveraging satellite-derived data and other space solutions for business and society. The conference is geared towards all those innovators seeking to benefit from the emerging satellite-applications market, ranging from start-ups, SMEs, and researchers to investors, institutional stakeholders, and industry entities.
Jorge Potti, General Manager of Aerospace, is taking part in the round-table session called "Galileo and Copernicus - EU space programmes unite forces to tackle global challenges", to be held at 15.00 hours on the 25th. For his part, José Caro, Head of the GNSS Advanced Systems Division, will be moderating the session “Space Services Taking Safety, Security and Emergency Issues Head On”, to be held on Wednesday the 25th at 17.00 hours.
