Consigo

Multi-mission follow-up scenario analysis to assess the precision expected in orbit determination

General information

Orbit Determination Analysis

Consigo evaluates the performance of your orbit determination plan by applying a Monte Carlo method to an orbit determination, introducing errors such as the initial state vector uncertainties or observation noise.

Consigo assesses if the current sources of orbit determination are enough for your accuracy needs.

Orbit Determination Analysis

Configure the dynamics model for your spacecraft.

Modelling and uncertainty adjusting of all problem parameters:

  • Satellite parameters, such as drag or solar radiation coefficients.
  • Transponder parameters, such as clock biases.
  • Station parameters, such as range or Doppler bias or the antenna position.

Complex observations using operational orbit determination models.

Available observation types include:

  • Station one-way or two-way range and range-rates.
  • Station azimuth/elevation.
  • Time difference of arrival (TDoA).
  • GNSS observations.
  • Satellite visibility link.
  • Initial propagation of a reference orbit.
  • Iteratively perform a simulated orbit propagation, measurement generation, and orbit determination, introducing dispersion in the selected parameters.
  • Compare the determined orbit results with the reference to obtain a statistical analysis.
  • Represent differences by orbital elements, radial/tangential/normal, etc.
