The objective pursued by the university with this new project is to simplify, unify and optimise processes and procedures, which, in the medium term, will translate into savings both in terms of costs and technological resources. The initial implementation of the Pharmacy Faculty’s website will be used to evaluate whether the new platform fits in with the websites of the remaining faculties and with the corporate services of the Barcelona University. As a new feature for Barcelona University, GMV has used a responsive web design so that the newly developed websites can be accessed from any mobile device and browser, thereby optimising the user’s experience. In addition, integrations have been carried out with different applications of Academic Management, Research Management, Personnel Directory and Single Sign-On of Barcelona University.
