This is the first worldwide user forum for integrated product support (IPS), also known as integrated logistics support (ILS). The event was able to bring together and discuss all the relevant S-Series IPS specifications, which deal with product support to enable a secure flow of technical data. Although one of the highlights of the IPS User Forum 2022 was the application of the S-Series in the railway sector, the S-Series IPS specifications are designed for use across a wide range of industries with long-life technical systems. In this first forum, GMV gave two presentations: One by Isabel Bachiller Martínez, head of the RAMS-QA division at GMV Space, entitled “A Holistic Maintenance Strategy for Satellite Control Centers Based on the International Procedure Specification for Logistic Support Analysis (LSA),” and the other by María Cruz Cañaveras Tribaldos, ILS/RAMS engineer at GMV Space, entitled “In-Service Product Support Analysis (PSA) for Virtual Platforms”. GMV has a long track record in the implementation of ILS and RAMS processes in various fields.
