This training program, held in the Company's Warsaw office (Poland), is organized by the Polish Space Industry Association (Space PL) and the Industrial Development Agency (ARP). Any undergraduates or graduates studying space-related subjects, one of Poland's quickest growing industries, were eligible to apply for the program until the closing date of 24 June 2019. The students to take part in the internship program were then chosen in an event held in Warsaw on 28 August, with participation of Poland's Technology and Enterprise Minister.The candidate chosen to work in GMV will be carrying out duties of database software engineering in the satellite data processing area. The three preceding internship programs have attracted a progressively increasing number of applicants, largely due to the fact that 85% of the participants were then hired upon completion of the internship. Since 2012 the Polish Space Industry Association (Space PL) has been selecting sector-leading companies like GMV for this program, with the overall aim of winning Poland pole position in Europe's space industry. It also promotes collaboration in the creation of a space policy at national level.
