GMV shares space data systems knowledge at DASIA 2022

In mid-May, GMV took part in a new edition of the “DASIA 2022” conference, the international conference on space systems engineering, DASIA (DAta Systems In Aerospace).

DASIA is an annual conference, organized by Eurospace since 1996, that brings together space data systems specialists for 3 days for networking purposes. At this edition, held online, GMV representatives shared two presentation together with other sector professionals.

The two presentations, given by two colleagues from GMV’s Flight Segment and Robotics business unit, covered “AITAG – Artificial Intelligence Techniques in On-Board Avionics and Software” and “In-Orbit Space-Based Surveillance System by high-performance computer-vision algorithms and dedicated HW avionics”.

DASIA covers technical aspects and the management of development, operations and maintenance of data processing components and systems for space and aeronautical command and control applications, as well as other sectors that share the same attributions of great reliability and complexity.

For GMV, taking part in this event is highly relevant, as it attracts top-tier participation by the space industry, universities and space agencies and institutes.
