In the cybersecurity part of the schedule Javier Zubieta, Head of Cybersecurity Business Development at GMV Secure e-Solutions, presented his view of correct vulnerability management. The expert stressed “how important and essential it is to tackle the management of cyber vulnerabilities within an integral risk-management and analysis system, ideally by delegating this potent process to a specialist service provider”.Antonio Borredá, patron of Fundación Borredá, then moderated a panel discussion with the participation of Javier Zubieta. Among other matters of interest the panel discussed the new NIS Directive, designed to guarantee a high, EU-wide level of security in information systems and networks. The event attracted a turnout of over 400 and dealt with a number of interesting issues ranging from the evolution of the critical infrastructure protection system to the implementation in Spain of the European NIS Directive.
