2nd Global Robot Expo

As part of the international robotics and related technology tradefair, and as a member firm of AMETIC (Spanish Association of ICT Companies), GMV is helping to organize the presentation of the ‘Factory of the Future’, a new proposal to showcase the enabling technologies of Industry 4.0. The company will also be displaying its robotics range, including its oil-and-gas robot called FOXIRIS (Flipper-based Oil & Gas ATEX Intelligent Robotics System).

The stand for the AMETIC member companies will be showing a range of products and services to help the industry carry out its digital transformation. It will also be holding explanatory chats, ‘Design thinking’ workshops and points for obtaining more information on the technological capabilities that could help to streamline production processes and change the industry’s current paradigm.

Miguel Hormigo, as GMV Secure e-Solutions’s Industry 4.0 specialist, will be presenting the company’s proposal at Global Robot Expo 2017 to be held from 2 to 4 February in the Pavilion of Madrid’s Casa de Campo tradefair site.

At 11.00 hours on Friday 3 February Luis Fernando Álvarez-Gascón, President of the Innovation Area of AMETIC, Vice President of the R&D committee of CEOE and CEO of GMV Secure e-Solutions, moderated the panel discussion “Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation, a new model for Spain”.
