16th Healthcare Data Protection and Security Forum

The Spanish Healthcare IT Society (Sociedad Española de Informática de la Salud: SEIS) set up the Healthcare Data Protection and Security Forum to provide a meeting point for all healthcare professionals (physicians, nurses, pharmacists, researchers, ICT professionals, managers and executives, etc.), data-protection authorities and the technological sector. The idea is to share experiences and knowhow in the interests of secure ICT use that is conducive to top-quality healthcare that respects all citizen rights.

In the SEIS-organized Healthcare Data Protection and Security Forum, Óscar Riaño de Antonio, head of GMV’s CERT, will be putting forward proposals for cybersecurity-incident response, laying special stress on the protection and privacy of especially sensitive data like healthcare data.
