NEO and Debris Detection Conference
GMV is presenting two papers at the upcoming NEO and Debris Detection Conference, organized by the European Space Agency and held in the European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt (Germany) from 22 to 24 January.
Space safety is a growing concern for all space-faring nations. Both the increasing number of artificial space objects and the population of near-Earth objects (NEO) pose a serious threat to our infrastructure in orbit and on the ground.
Space Surveillance and Tracking (SST) and NEO communities share a common interest and a whole host of synergies, especially in the areas of instrumentation, data-processing and astrodynamics. This conference will therefore present various papers to look at both the new and classical disciplines of both activities.
