Digital Energy 2018

On 31 May in Madrid Energética XXI is putting on the inaugural “Digital Energy: Digitalization Solutions in the Energy Sector”. This conference, geared towards sector professionals, looks at the role of digitalization in the current moment of energy transition based on the growth of renewable energy sources and the expansion of energy storage.

GMV, as event sponsor, is taking part with a paper on the optimization of industrial processes with IIoT and Big Data technology, given by Pedro José Hernández Ariznavarreta, Business Partner and expert in Industry Big Data & Digitalization (9.40-10.45).

Digital Energy will focus on the whole digitalization process both in energy facilities and infrastructure, as well as in business and service processes. Energy-generation, -transport and -distribution will be key themes of an event that will pay special attention to the digital transformation of process automation in industrial plants, the analysis of operations, predictive supply-demand systems and predictive and preventive maintenance, among other aspects.
