IAC
GMV will be taking part in the International Astronautical Congress (IAC), an annual event organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) and its partners: the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) and the International Institute of Space Law (IISL), in collaboration with Center of Applied Space Technology and Microgravity (ZARM).
IAC, including plenary sessions, lectures and meetings, is one of the world’s top yearly space congresses. This year’s host city is Bremen, from 1 to 5 October.
The congress theme this year is “IAC 2018 – involving everyone”, with the aim of sharing the organization’s vision of a more diverse space sector, placing special emphasis on the new generation of space experts, the expansion of equal opportunities, the integration of new countries and start-up companies in the global space network, as well as increasing public participation.
Global, multidisciplinary, and covering all space sectors and topics, the event deals with space’s burning issues while also presenting a chance for participants to strike up contacts, present projects and future plans, pinpoint new collaboration opportunities and share opinions.
GMV will be running a stand (B40) and giving 9 papers.
As another part of IAC 2018 activities GMV will also be participating actively in the IAA Space Debris Committee to be held on 29 September
