18th Madrid Defense and Security Technology Conference: Digital Challenge

On 29 and 30 October Madrid will be hosting the 18th Defense and Security Technology Conference: Digital Challenge.

Ricardo Sáenz Amandi, GMV’s Defense and Security Programs Manager, will be taking part in the first session in Artificial Intelligence.

The conference, to be held under the banner title of “Towards automation of highly complex processes”, will be looking at how artificial intelligence (AI) tries to emulate human-intelligence processes and how the exponential rise in computers’ calculation capacity is helping AI to pull this off in a continually increasing number of applications.

The conference will be addressing diverse aspects of Artificial Intelligence, coming up with answers for questions like the following: How can AI be applied to defense and security? How do Spain’s research centers currently stand in AI matters? What is industry’s capacity for implementing these technologies? What effect will AI have on the chain-of-command concept and in general the theories and practices employed in operations?,etc.
