2nd User Community & Innovation Management Meeting

On 16 and 17 January, under the MARISA project (Maritime Integrated Surveillance Awareness), GMV’s head office is hosting the 2nd User Community & Innovation Management Meeting.

MARISA is a 22-member EU H2020 R&D project that aims to coordinate and run maritime activities by means of data fusion and Big Data.

GMV, playing a key role in the project, is responsible for system design, the development of various fusion- and anomaly-detection algorithms and also the trials to be held in Spain and Portugal in collaboration with the Spanish Guardia Civil and the Portuguese Marinha Portuguesa.

The event will bring together over 50 attendees including end users, industry representatives, research centers and agencies, with the remit of refining and enriching the work carried out to date on project-user requisites, as well as defining operational trials and scenarios.
