eMobility Expo World Congress
GMV will be participating in the eMobility Expo World Congress, taking place from 13 to 15 February in Valencia, Spain with the theme “Transforming the Mobility of the Future.”
At a time when the world is facing several geopolitical and economic challenges, this congress is emerging as a key event to promote the eMobility sector and boost sustainable transportation. Europe aspires to become the first climate-neutral continent by 2050, but the European Union’s mobility sector strategies must make adjustments in light of recent economic and political changes, including inflation. The congress will bring together innovative solutions and trends to improve sustainable mobility.
Jorge Potti, GMV's corporate director of strategy, will be participating as a speaker in the panel discussion on “The Role of Space Technology in Mobility” on 15 February. This session seeks to showcase the key elements of space technology to support mobility and current developments for the future.
The use of space technology has become increasingly important in the rapidly evolving mobility of people and goods. Space exploration is the backbone of modern communication technology and allows for satellite navigation. It’s used to monitor and manage transportation systems, including air traffic control, maritime navigation, and ground transportation systems. Space technology plays a crucial role in the accessibility of transportation systems in developing countries and in many other activities that make modern operations possible in more developed countries.
