They enable tickets to be printed and validated with QR or bar codes, as well as validation of different transportation tickets, whether through contactless cards, EMV bank cards (physical or virtual), or mobile phones, via mobile payment apps and NFC. Onboard Equipment The GMV onboard ticketing equipment is designed to offer a great deal of robustness and reliability that are also very versatile. They comply with both automotive (E-mark) and, depending on their sector, bus and railroad transportation regulations. We have onboard fare collection machines such as sales machines (including self-sale), contactless and bank card validation screens, and inspection terminals. Station Equipment GMV’s station ticketing equipment offers great versatility in terms of installation at bus stops and train, metro, or trolley stations. They allow for automatic ticket sales and (transportation or payment) card validation at the station, with or without access control, as well as sales solutions with support for ticketing, reloading, and personalization. Software Applications GMV’s suite of back-office ticketing applications offers an integrated package of large-scale ticketing system management tools, which in turn are integrated, thanks to most widespread interoperability standards on the market, with the back-office tools of other GMV systems such as CAD/AVL and GMV Planner, as well as with other third-party systems. These applications enable intuitive configuration of the fare system, data leveraging, operator compensation in traditional or account-based terminal (ABT) systems and the configuration of all physical elements of the system.They also offer system end users the option of using web environments and apps to buy and manage transportation tickets.
