The main purpose of Faro Corporativo is to record and monitor all security incidents that may crop up in BBVA Group’s head offices and banks. It also includes a series of powerful integral security-management functions, the most important being a detailed inventory of all security devices installed in banks and buildings; planning and monitoring of all surveillance services, including drawing up quotes, contract management and billing control; management of security audits in banks, buildings and ATMs; agenda of security providers and provider assessment and monitoring tool; accounting management of security incidents; hazard maps, claims reports and dashboards. The system as designed by GMV enables worldwide dashboards and reports to be obtained in real time without the need for periodic data-consolidation processes and without affecting daily operations conducted from each particular country. Faro Corporativo has now been rolled out in Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Venezuela. This rollout will continue in 2014 and 2015 until building up to a total of 12 countries. Grupo BBVA has recently won the prize for the “Best security system installed in Spain”, awarded by the trade review Seguritecnia.
