The “ICT Security Trophies” award is organised by “Red Seguridad” a specialist information-security publication that has now been up and running for ten years. From a total of 66 candidatures submitted for the prize, the jury chose codelogin in recognition of GMV’s constant stream of groundbreaking ITC security solutions. One of the biggest challenges currently facing remote secure access is the proliferation of mechanisms for introducing malware into the access computers. The current antivirus and antiworm applications are unable to provide a proper defence against Trojans and therefore cannot guarantee a malware-free and secure access. Codelogin solves the insecure access problem by using cell phones as an authentication token, secure execution platform, depository of private keys and alternative communication channel – authenticated and encrypted – using the most suitable technology to minimise associated management needs.
