12th Malaga University Conference on Security, Emergency and Catastrophes

GMV is taking part in the 12th Malaga University Conference on Security, Emergency and Catastrophes, organized Malaga University’s Chair of Security, Emergency and Catastrophes and the Department of Behavioral Sciences Methodology and Psychobiology.

The conference takes in lectures, panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions and demos by emergency-related organizations. Top-ranking national and international speakers will be dealing with civil and military burning issues to do with healthcare intervention and psychology, logistics, rescue, civil protection and integral security in emergency and disaster situations.

Juan Carlos Llorente, business development manager of Big Science Facilities, will be taking part in the panel discussion “New technologies in emergencies and technological risks”, to be held on 31 May at 17.30 hours.

The event winds up on 1 June with a 12-hour simulation exercise involving many organizations including civil and military resources.
