European Robotics Week. Cinema on the big screen!

As part of the overarching European Robotics Week, the Spanish Robotics Technology Platform, Hisparob, and Cero en Conducta, the educational cinema site, are organizing a get-together between the cinema industry, the robotics industry and the world of education.

For this activity the Spanish Academy of Cinematographic Sciences and Arts is receiving a visit by a group of high-school pupils on 21 November in a day that will kick off with a showing of the robots and science film “Eva”.

The film will be followed by a panel discussion with professionals from various robotics fields. The world of education will be represented by Concha Monje, robotics expert of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and film consultant. Industry, for its part, will be represented by Juan Carlos Llorente, GMV’s robotics business development manager while, on behalf of the cinema world, there will be an intervention by Ricardo Domínguez, organizer of the robotics and cinema event “ROS film festival”.
