The complete list of organizations registered for the conference included CDTI, ESA, CNES, Eumetsat, Eutelsat, SES, Arabsat, Turksat, Hispasat, Hisdesat, Nilesat, Measat, Yahsat, Sky Perfect JSAT, Star One, Airbus, TAS, SSL, Effective Space Solutions and Iceye

Active participation by the government and companies, bringing supply and demand into proper connection, is crucial for the takeoff of Spain’s robotics industry

Spain’s robotics companies now enjoy a higher reputation and win more business abroad than at home

Europol has cooperated actively with the European ATM Security Team (EAST), a group of which the multinational GMV is a member, to draw up a guide called “Guidance and Recommendations regarding Logical attacks on ATMs”

By publishing this guide GMV and the Security Council of the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA) are helping to raise awareness about the ATM cyberattack threat

GMV and Syncromatics enter into a strategic investment to accelerate growth in the US market. With this investment, GMV consolidates its leading position in the global ITS market

BRIsat is a geostationary communications satellite based on Space Systems Loral’s LS-1300 bus

This project taps into GMV’s wealth of experience in providing this type of control center for this particular platform

This is a global awareness-raising day to help protect our planet from asteroid impact

GMV is currently working on the preliminary design of the AIM mission of the European Space Agency (ESA) and also on guidance, navigation and control (GNC) and operations to the mission’s target, the binary asteroid Dydimos

ESA will decide in 2016 whether it approves the mission; if so, AIM would be launched in 2020, reaching Didymoon 18 months later and then beginning to analyze it

AIM has a 200-million-euro budget

Within non-rigid capture techniques, GMV is investigating the development of nets as one of the most promising methods

Malaysia has recently inaugurated two of the country’s key transport projects: the RAPID KUANTAN Bus Integrated System and the Sunway Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)

GMV is providing key systems in both projects, which are breaking new ground in Malaysia

The company e-Health Vision and the eye clinic Orduna collaborate with GMV in the creation of My Vision 360, a groundbreaking ophthalmology teleconsultation service

The company works in close cooperation with British industry on space, transport and telecommunications projects

GMV expects its on-the-spot presence in the United Kingdom to enable it to pinpoint and exploit new opportunities in the rest of its business lines and activity sectors

The recently constituted, Barcelona-based foundation aims to bring to Europe the mission of the APWG group, set up in the USA to unify the response of the private sector, public sector and law-enforcement agencies to the global threat of cyber crime

REPMUS (Robotic Experimentation and Prototyping Augmented by Maritime Unmanned Systems) is the largest military exercise with experimental participation by unmanned maritime systems. Its purpose is to allow NATO and its allies to demonstrate their technological and operational capabilities

The IRIS system, developed by GMV as part of the Spanish Ministry of Defense’s RAPAZ program, has demonstrated its high level of interoperability and integration with other command and control systems

GMV has complied with all of the planned integration objectives, with participation in the I2I network used during the exercise, exchanging information with the systems operated by the other allied nations

GMV plays a key role in the European Union’s FirEUrisk project, which aims to find a solution to forest fires

GMV will assess the cascading effects, causes, and consequences of forest fires, and propose science-based solutions

The multinational firm is working on a solution to assist with the diagnosis of crew members while reducing the need for consultation with physicians on Earth

The project will enhance the use of ultrasound technology to capture clinically relevant medical images of the astronauts’ organs

The company will develop a critical system (DAL-A) to manage all the flight commands from the DUO (Designated UAS Operator) to be sent to the UAS

GMV will provide AIRBUS with a reliable safety critical computer to command and control the Eurodrone Unmanned Aerial System (UAS)

The number of space debris orbiting the Earth is increasing at an outstanding pace pushed by a boost on the number of launches in the past few years. The European Space Agency (ESA) estimates that a total of almost 10,000 tons of material is currently orbiting our planet, including over a million objects bigger than 1 cm. GMV is a world leading light in the study, monitoring and prevention of space debris to safeguard future space sustainability.

GMV won seven projects in the first EDF call, bringing the total number of EDIDP and EDF projects it is involved in to 19

The seven projects that GMV is taking part in amount to a European Commission contribution of nearly €350 million, topping up the more than €200 million in projects from the two previous EDIDP calls

The awarded projects will focus on developing missile defense system capabilities, systems for dismounted soldiers, avionics, command and control, navigation, and cyberdefense

ALSA, GMV, INDRA, MASERMIC, MAS MÓVIL, RENAULT GROUP and SIGMA have launched the R3CAV project, which positions the partners at the forefront of the technologies needed to develop future autonomous and connected vehicles

The initiatives that are already being worked on include an autonomous vehicle for the industrial environment at the Renault Factory in Palencia as well as different tests on connectivity systems in highly automated vehicles for transporting people in the town of Alcobendas (Madrid)

As part of the Space Safety Program (S2P), the European Space Agency (ESA) defined a technological cornerstone for Collision Risk Estimation and Automated Mitigation (CREAM)

The aim of the cornerstone is the development of technology for automated collision avoidance to reduce man-power efforts, the time between manoeuvre decision and close approach, and the number of false alerts

GMV acts as a prime contractor in two of the three activities launched in the framework of CREAM and also participates in the third one

The OASIS team at IES José Luís Sampedro in Madrid, which has the support of GMV, makes it to the FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE International Open Brazil

Composed of 9 female students between 13 and 15 years old, the team will defend their sustainable electric energy production project aimed at road lighting, in order to reduce accidents and casualties due to lack of lighting

As part of their commitment to talented youth, GMV has maintained close connections with the FIRST® LEGO® LEAGUE since 2008

We can record changes in pigmented skin lesions (skin moles) using our cell phone, allowing dermatologists to detect possible melanomas at an early stage

The applications currently available on the market do not provide a means of detecting new moles or changes in existing ones over time

The estimated number of new cases of skin melanoma from the Spanish Network of Cancer Registries (REDECAM) for 2022 is 7,474 (3,377 in men and 4,097 in women)

The CDTI has awarded GMV a new contract as part of the collision avoidance service provided by the Spanish (S3TOC) and French (COO) operations centers within the EU SST system

The main objective is to develop software for advanced collision risk analysis and avoidance maneuver calculation. The software is to be deployed, as well as in the S3TOC itself, in the control centers of the European satellite operators subscribed to the EU SST collision avoidance service
