Andalusian Healthcare IT Conference

For yet another year Malaga is hosting in June, this time on the days 17, 18 and 19, the Andalusian Healthcare IT Conference (Jornadas de Informática Sanitaria en Andalucía). This twenty-second conference of its kind will be held under the overarching slogan of “Measuring the impact of ICTs on health”.

This year’s conference is taking on the challenge of coming up with a first idea of how to measure the impact of ICTs on health with reasonable accuracy and thoroughgoingness. To do so it will deal with such questions as:
• How the analysis of the impact of ICTs on health should be tackled to clear up the debate about their real contribution to improving healthcare quality and efficiency.
• How to make assessment of ICT healthcare impact a more widespread practice, laying down the methodological bases.
