National Robotics Conference

GMV is taking part in the National Robotics Conference, to be held on 14 and 15 June in Valladolid University’s Industrial Engineers’ School (Escuela de Ingenierías Industriales: ETSII).

Brokered by the Robotics Thematic Group (Grupo Temático de Robótica: GTROB) of the Spanish Automatic-Control Committee (Comité Español de Automática: CEA) and organized by Valladolid University’s Advanced Production-Technology Institute (Instituto Universitario de Tecnologías Avanzadas de la Producción: ITAP), this conference aims to bring out the importance of robotics technology-transfer research activity.

Juan Carlos Llorente, business-development manager of Big Science Facilities, will be taking part in the HispaRob session to be held at 10.00 hours on 15 June, giving a presentation on GMV’s technology transfer projects.

The conference is open to the participation of the whole science community, associations, company consortia and research groups interested in robotics. The conference will again take the format of giving the results of national and international projects. A new feature this year will be sessions in which the youngest researchers will present the results, progress and development of the doctoral dissertations, with the aim of making the event a meeting point and encounter of young and established researchers to swap notes on research progress and challenges.
