Together with healthcare professionals, researchers, and patients, we develop solutions and take part in research to treat diseases like cancer and Alzheimer's and care for the sick and elderly. To do that, we apply cutting-edge technologies; that enable us to contribute to guaranteeing the viability and; sustainability of the healthcare system, while also implementing predictive, personalized, and precision medicine. Milestones Leaders of the TARTAGLIA consortium, which is responsible for creating a federated network to accelerate application of artificial intelligence in clinical and healthcare research in Spain Collaboration with leading hospitals and healthcare entities, such as the La Paz University Hospital Research Institute, La Fe Healthcare Research Institute of Valencia, the Vall D’ Hebron University Hospital Research Institute, the University of California at San Francisco, and the Weill Cornell Medical College. Technology leaders in the HARMONY Alliance, which leverages Big Data to provide personalized treatments for blood cancer patients Leaders in Naviphy, a research project focused on developing algorithms for surgical simulation Technological leadership on projects such as Tartaglia, on the use of AI to accelerate clinical and healthcare research; MOPEAD, on early detection of Alzheimer’s disease; ALISSE, on the use of AI with ultrasound imaging for medical diagnosis; and RAINBOW, for developing clinical simulators. Subsectors Technology for Healthcare eHealth Solutions Oncology and Intraoperative Radiation Therapy Medical planning and imaging software We provide our technology to oncologists and radiation therapy physicians to improve the precision of intraoperative radiation therapy (IRT) planning with the GMV-developed tool , Radiance™, which uses algorithms to calculate the exact dosage to be given, offering a three-dimensional image and action log. Products Antari® Digital health for medical practice, pharmaceutical research, and epidemiology Intraplan Radiance® Telegeriatrics and Teleophthalmology Remote Medicine With Antari Home Care®and Antari Professional Care®; patients and professionals benefit from digital health. We ease the pressure on the Spanish healthcare system with virtual medical care; we make remote tracking (monitoring) a reality for seniors and the sick; remote specialist diagnostics and interconnecting professionals (primary-care doctors, specialists, and healthcare workers), giving them the best tools for improving interoperability to the patient's benefit. Some of the use cases include: telerehabilitation for people who have suffered a stroke, teleophthalmology, and telepediatrics. Products Antari® Digital health for medical practice, pharmaceutical research, and epidemiology Intraplan Radiance® Digital Surgery Surgical Navigation We develop surgical simulation algorithms for better precision in surgery. GMV has designed a surgical navigation module in its intraoperative radiation therapy device Radiance™ to obtain a better anatomical representation and provide updated, individualized information, advancing toward personalized treatments. Products Antari® Digital health for medical practice, pharmaceutical research, and epidemiology Intraplan Radiance® Big Data Platforms Big Data Platforms for Exploiting Epidemiological and Clinical Data We extract valuable information from large, complex volumes of data with Antari evidence® technology. We provide evidence to the pharmaceutical industry for the development of new drugs, to healthcare managers so they can make decisions, and to physicians to implement treatments. Products Antari® Digital health for medical practice, pharmaceutical research, and epidemiology Neurodegenerative Diseases GMV develops technology for early detection of diseases such as Alzheimer's and proposing new therapeutic developments able to stop the disease. To do that, it applies a model that includes online patient recruitment, using digital marketing tools and data harmonization using advanced analytical tools. Products Antari® Digital health for medical practice, pharmaceutical research, and epidemiology HealthTech Observer (HTO) Description and goals GMV has set up the HealthTech Observer, a knowledge forum involving leading professionals from the fields of clinical and technological innovation and health, healthcare, and welfare research. The forum’s founding mission is to accelerate the uptake of digital technologies as tools for implementing patient-centered personalized and precision medicine, which is essential for the sustainability of healthcare systems. The HealthTech Observer strategy focuses on spreading scientific knowledge and generating objective, rigorous data through partnerships and synergies with reputable organizations such as Spain’s National Association of Health Informants (ANIS). As a corporate member, GMV seeks to promote truthful, objective, rigorous, and transparent information on technological innovation in healthcare for the benefit of patients and the healthcare system itself, as a key element of sustainability, equity, and social cohesion. This knowledge is disseminated in different ways, namely through published documents (white papers, e-books, articles, press releases, etc.) and specialized online and in-person events (seminars, panel discussions, press conferences, etc.). Commitment to the SDGs This initiative aligns with GMV’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including SDG 3, which focuses on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages, and SDG 9, which includes important aspects such as the promotion of technology, innovation, and research to find lasting solutions to economic and environmental challenges. Likewise, in line with SDG 17, which encourages partnerships to achieve the Goals, GMV is taking part in numerous digital innovation and research projects in the healthcare field, applying breakthrough technologies, and networking with Spanish and European hospitals, universities, and research centers. It also shares the results of these initiatives in health and healthcare media and specialized publications.
