14th “Satellites as a key element for security, defense and government applications” seminar
GMV is sponsoring the 14th “Satellites as a key element for security, defense and government applications” seminar, to be held in Santander from 7 to 9 September.
The needs and demands of the armed forces having been evolving in step with the national and international scenarios requiring their action. When delivering solutions and services to the government sector, one feature remains constant: the need to redefine strategies across the security and defense industry. Space has now become a decisive and valuable partner, flanked by our State security forces and corps as they successfully carry out the missions in which they take part.
The seminar is a must to understand the Spanish space landscape from the point of view of government applications, drawing leading representatives of the armed forces, institutions, and industry stakeholders.
The meeting will host a series of talks and round tables to discuss the current state of government satellite services, as well as areas related to regulatory applications, technological aspects and challenges of governance and business, as well as the Galileo program.
Jorge Potti, GMV’s Space General Manager, and Miguel Ángel Molina, Manager of Business Strategy and Development for GMV’s Ground Segment and Space Operations Department, will take part in two sessions at the event.
